The Stobie Pole
2024 is the 100 hundredth year anniversary of the Stobie Pole. Stobie Poles have been carrying South Australian electricity since 1924.
I was fortunate enough to be asked to work with the song writer Paul Roberts to record a song to celebrate this icon. The song is a homourous homage to the pole. played bass on the track and not only did I get to be in the video clip to support the song, I was also in the actual Stobie Pole documentary itself. That is definitley quite a privilege!
